וּשְׁמוֹנָ֖ה

of Yahweh –

וְאַרְבָּעָ֖ה

אָ֑לֶף

וְשֹׁטְרִ֥ים

and [were] officers

､ וְשֹׁפְטִ֖ים

wə·šō·p̄ə·ṭîm

and judges ､

שֵׁ֥שֶׁת

. אֲלָפִֽים׃

’ă·lā·p̄îm.

וְאַרְבַּ֥עַת

wə·’ar·ba·‘aṯ

And four

אֲלָפִ֖ים

– שֹׁעֲרִ֑ים

šō·‘ă·rîm;

[were] gatekeepers –

וְאַרְבַּ֤עַת

wə·’ar·ba·‘aṯ

and four

אֲלָפִים֙

’ă·lā·p̄îm

מְהַֽלְלִ֣ים

mə·hal·lîm

לַיהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

בַּכֵּלִ֕ים

bak·kê·lîm

with [musical] instruments

אֲשֶׁ֥ר

’ă·šer

､ עָשִׂ֖יתִי

‘ā·śî·ṯî

I made [said David] ､

. לְהַלֵּֽל׃

for giving praise .

וַיֶּֽחָלְקֵ֥ם

And separated them

and to stand

on the Sabbaths ､

and on the New Moons ､

､ וְלַמֹּעֲדִ֑ים

and on the set feasts ､

､ בְּמִסְפָּ֨ר

according to the ordinance

עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם
