וְאָמַ֨רְתִּֽי
wə·’ā·mar·tî
So said
אֲנִ֜י
’ă·nî
I
､ בְּלִבִּ֗י
bə·lib·bî,
in my heart ､
כְּמִקְרֵ֤ה
kə·miq·rêh
as it happens to
､ הַכְּסִיל֙
hak·kə·sîl
the fool ､
גַּם־
gam-
אֲנִ֣י
’ă·nî
me
יִקְרֵ֔נִי
yiq·rê·nî,
it happens to
וְלָ֧מָּה
wə·lām·māh
and why
؟ חָכַ֛מְתִּי
ḥā·ḵam·tî
אֲנִ֖י
’ă·nî
I
אָ֣ז
’āz
יוֹתֵ֑ר
yō·w·ṯêr;
וְדִבַּ֣רְתִּי
wə·ḏib·bar·tî
and I said
､ בְלִבִּ֔י
ḇə·lib·bî,
in my heart ､
שֶׁגַּם־
šeg·gam-
זֶ֖ה
zeh
. הָֽבֶל׃
hā·ḇel.
[is] vanity .
