וְכִֽי־
wə·ḵî-
And if
יַכֶּ֨ה
yak·keh
אִ֜ישׁ
’îš
a man
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
עֵ֥ין
‘ên
the eye
､ עַבְדּ֛וֹ
‘aḇ·dōw
אֽוֹ־
’ōw-
or
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
עֵ֥ין
‘ên
the eye
､ אֲמָת֖וֹ
’ă·mā·ṯōw
– וְשִֽׁחֲתָ֑הּ
wə·ši·ḥă·ṯāh;
and destroys it –
לַֽחָפְשִׁ֥י
la·ḥā·p̄ə·šî
יְשַׁלְּחֶ֖נּוּ
yə·šal·lə·ḥen·nū
he shall let him go
תַּ֥חַת
ta·ḥaṯ
-
. עֵינֽוֹ׃
‘ê·nōw.
for the sake of his eye .
