וַיִּקָּבְצ֣וּ
way·yiq·qā·ḇə·ṣū
כָל־
ḵāl
אַנְשֵֽׁי־
’an·šê-
the men
יְהוּדָה֩
yə·hū·ḏāh
וּבִנְיָמִ֨ן ׀
ū·ḇin·yā·min
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם
yə·rū·šā·lim
לִשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת
liš·lō·šeṯ
. הַיָּמִ֗ים
hay·yā·mîm,
ה֛וּא
hū
It [was]
､ חֹ֥דֶשׁ
ḥō·ḏeš
month ､
הַתְּשִׁיעִ֖י
hat·tə·šî·‘î
the ninth
בְּעֶשְׂרִ֣ים
bə·‘eś·rîm
on [day] twenty
– בַּחֹ֑דֶשׁ
ba·ḥō·ḏeš;
of the month –
וַיֵּשְׁב֣וּ
way·yê·šə·ḇū
and sat
כָל־
ḵāl
הָעָ֗ם
hā·‘ām,
the people
בִּרְחוֹב֙
bir·ḥō·wḇ
in the open square
בֵּ֣ית
bêṯ
of the house
､ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים
hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm,
of God ､
מַרְעִידִ֥ים
mar·‘î·ḏîm
עַל־
‘al-
､ הַדָּבָ֖ר
had·dā·ḇār
of [this] matter ､
. וּמֵהַגְּשָׁמִֽים׃
ū·mê·hag·gə·šā·mîm.
and because of heavy rain .
