וַיֹּ֣אמֶר
way·yō·mer
And said
､ אֱלֹהִ֗ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm,
God ､
יְהִ֤י
yə·hî
מְאֹרֹת֙
mə·’ō·rōṯ
בִּרְקִ֣יעַ
bir·qî·a‘
in the firmament
､ הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם
haš·šā·ma·yim,
of the heavens ､
לְהַבְדִּ֕יל
lə·haḇ·dîl
בֵּ֥ין
bên
הַיּ֖וֹם
hay·yō·wm
the day
וּבֵ֣ין
ū·ḇên
– הַלָּ֑יְלָה
hal·lā·yə·lāh;
the night –
וְהָי֤וּ
wə·hā·yū
and let them be
לְאֹתֹת֙
lə·’ō·ṯōṯ
וּלְמ֣וֹעֲדִ֔ים
ū·lə·mō·w·‘ă·ḏîm,
וּלְיָמִ֖ים
ū·lə·yā·mîm
. וְשָׁנִֽים׃
wə·šā·nîm.
and years .
