וַיְגָ֖רֶשׁ
way·ḡā·reš
so He drove out
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
– הָֽאָדָ֑ם
hā·’ā·ḏām;
the man –
וַיַּשְׁכֵּן֩
way·yaš·kên
and He placed
מִקֶּ֨דֶם
miq·qe·ḏem
to the east
לְגַן־
lə·ḡan-
of the garden
עֵ֜דֶן
‘ê·ḏen
of Eden
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַכְּרֻבִ֗ים
hak·kə·ru·ḇîm,
וְאֵ֨ת
wə·’êṯ
and
לַ֤הַט
la·haṭ
הַחֶ֙רֶב֙
ha·ḥe·reḇ
､ הַמִּתְהַפֶּ֔כֶת
ham·miṯ·hap·pe·ḵeṯ,
לִשְׁמֹ֕ר
liš·mōr
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
דֶּ֖רֶךְ
de·reḵ
the way
עֵ֥ץ
‘êṣ
to the tree
. הַֽחַיִּֽים׃
ha·ḥay·yîm.
of life .
