גָּרְנ֥וֹת

and the winepress

וְתִיר֖וֹשׁ

and the new wine
יְכַ֥חֶשׁ

and in Assyria

. יֹאכֵֽלוּ׃

לוֹ֒

to Him
זִבְחֵיהֶ֗ם
ziḇ·ḥê·hem,
כְּלֶ֤חֶם
kə·le·ḥem
[it shall be] like the bread
– אוֹנִים֙
’ō·w·nîm
of mourners –
לָהֶ֔ם
lā·hem,
to them
כָּל־
kāl-
אֹכְלָ֖יו
’ō·ḵə·lāw
who eat it
､ יִטַמָּ֑אוּ‪‬
yi·ṭam·mā·’ū;
shall be defiled ､
כִּֽי־
kî-
לַחְמָ֣ם
laḥ·mām
לְנַפְשָׁ֔ם
lə·nap̄·šām,
לֹ֥א
lō
not
יָב֖וֹא
yā·ḇō·w
בֵּ֥ית

מַחְמַ֣ד
maḥ·maḏ
､ לְכַסְפָּ֗ם

of their silver ､
קִמּוֹשׂ֙

יִֽירָשֵׁ֔ם
yî·rā·šêm,
ח֖וֹחַ
ḥō·w·aḥ
. בְּאָהֳלֵיהֶֽם׃
bə·’ā·ho·lê·hem.

the days
הַפְּקֻדָּ֗ה
hap·pə·qud·dāh,
– בָּ֚אוּ

יְמֵ֣י

the days
הַשִׁלֻּ֔ם‪‬
ha·šil·lum,
יֵדְע֖וּ
yê·ḏə·‘ū
יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל
yiś·rā·’êl;
､ אֱוִ֣יל
’ĕ·wîl
a fool ､
הַנָּבִ֗יא
han·nā·ḇî,
the prophet [is]
､ מְשֻׁגָּע֙
mə·šug·gā‘
insane ､
אִ֣ישׁ
’îš
man [is]
הָר֔וּחַ
hā·rū·aḥ,
עַ֚ל
‘al
רֹ֣ב
rōḇ
of the greatness
､ עֲוֺנְךָ֔
‘ă·wō·nə·ḵā,
of your iniquity ､
וְרַבָּ֖ה
wə·rab·bāh
and great
. מַשְׂטֵמָֽה׃
maś·ṭê·māh.

‘im-
[is] with
､ אֱלֹהָ֑י
’ĕ·lō·hāy;
my God ､
נָבִ֞יא
nā·ḇî
but the prophet [is]
פַּ֤ח
paḥ
יָקוֹשׁ֙
yā·qō·wōš
עַל־
‘al-
in
כָּל־
kāl-
､ דְּרָכָ֔יו
də·rā·ḵāw,
his ways ､
מַשְׂטֵמָ֖ה
maś·ṭê·māh
בְּבֵ֥ית
bə·ḇêṯ
in the house
. אֱלֹהָֽיו׃
’ĕ·lō·hāw.
of his God .

הֶעְמִֽיקוּ־
he‘·mî·qū-
שִׁחֵ֖תוּ
ši·ḥê·ṯū
כִּימֵ֣י
kî·mê
as in the days
– הַגִּבְעָ֑ה
hag·giḇ·‘āh;
of Gibeah –
יִזְכּ֣וֹר
yiz·kō·wr
He will remember
､ עֲוֺנָ֔ם
‘ă·wō·nām,
יִפְק֖וֹד
yip̄·qō·wḏ
He will punish
. חַטֹּאותָֽם׃
ḥaṭ·ṭō·w·ṯām.

– בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר
bam·miḏ·bār,
in the wilderness –
מָצָ֙אתִי֙
mā·ṣā·ṯî
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
כְּבִכּוּרָ֤ה
kə·ḇik·kū·rāh
בִתְאֵנָה֙
ḇiṯ·’ê·nāh
on the fig tree
– בְּרֵ֣אשִׁיתָ֔הּ
bə·rê·šî·ṯāh,
רָאִ֖יתִי
rā·’î·ṯî
I saw
אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם
’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·ḵem;
הֵ֜מָּה
hêm·māh
בָּ֣אוּ
bā·’ū
[But] went
בַֽעַל־
ḇa·‘al-
to
､ פְּע֗וֹר
pə·‘ō·wr,
וַיִּנָּֽזְרוּ֙
way·yin·nā·zə·rū
– לַבֹּ֔שֶׁת
lab·bō·šeṯ,
[to [that] shame –
וַיִּהְי֥וּ
way·yih·yū
שִׁקּוּצִ֖ים
šiq·qū·ṣîm
. כְּאָהֳבָֽם׃
kə·’ā·ho·ḇām.

､ אֶפְרַ֕יִם
’ep̄·ra·yim
[As for] Ephraim ､
､ כָּע֖וֹף
kā·‘ō·wp̄
like a bird ､
יִתְעוֹפֵ֣ף
yiṯ·‘ō·w·p̄êp̄
כְּבוֹדָ֑ם
kə·ḇō·w·ḏām;
､ מִלֵּדָ֥ה
mil·lê·ḏāh
No birth ､
､ וּמִבֶּ֖טֶן
ū·mib·be·ṭen
and no pregnancy ､
. וּמֵהֵרָיֽוֹן׃
ū·mê·hê·rā·yō·wn.
and no conception .

､ כִּ֤י
kî
Yes ､
אִם־
’im-
יְגַדְּלוּ֙
yə·ḡad·də·lū
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ בְּנֵיהֶ֔ם
bə·nê·hem,
וְשִׁכַּלְתִּ֖ים
wə·šik·kal·tîm
and yet I will bereave them
מֵֽאָדָ֑ם
mê·’ā·ḏām;
to the last man
כִּֽי־
kî-
גַם־
ḡam-
א֥וֹי
’ō·w
לָהֶ֖ם
lā·hem
to them
בְּשׂוּרִ֥י
bə·śū·rî
. מֵהֶֽם׃
mê·hem.

､ אֶפְרַ֛יִם

כַּאֲשֶׁר־
ka·’ă·šer-
just as
רָאִ֥יתִי
rā·’î·ṯî
I saw
､ לְצ֖וֹר
lə·ṣō·wr
שְׁתוּלָ֣ה
šə·ṯū·lāh
– בְנָוֶ֑ה
ḇə·nā·weh;
in a pleasant place –
וְאֶפְרַ֕יִם
wə·’ep̄·ra·yim
לְהוֹצִ֥יא
lə·hō·w·ṣî
will bring out
אֶל־
’el-
to
הֹרֵ֖ג
hō·rêḡ
. בָּנָֽיו׃
bā·nāw.

Yah·weh
Yahweh –

؟ תִּתֵּ֑ן

will You give ؟

מַשְׁכִּ֔יל
maš·kîl,
וְשָׁדַ֖יִם
wə·šā·ḏa·yim
. צֹמְקִֽים׃
ṣō·mə·qîm.

עַ֚ל

רֹ֣עַ
rō·a‘
of the evil
מַֽעַלְלֵיהֶ֔ם
ma·‘al·lê·hem,
､ מִבֵּיתִ֖י
mib·bê·ṯî
from My house ､
אֲגָרְשֵׁ֑ם
’ă·ḡā·rə·šêm;
I will drive them
לֹ֤א

– אוֹסֵף֙

more –
אַהֲבָתָ֔ם
’a·hă·ḇā·ṯām,
I will love them
כָּל־
kāl-
שָׂרֵיהֶ֖ם
śā·rê·hem
. סֹרְרִֽים׃
sō·rə·rîm.

Is stricken ､
אֶפְרַ֔יִם
’ep̄·ra·yim,
שָׁרְשָׁ֥ם

､ יָבֵ֖שׁ
yā·ḇêš
is dried up ､
. פְּרִ֣י
pə·rî
[בלי־]

יַעֲשׂ֑וּן

Yes ､

and I would kill
מַחֲמַדֵּ֥י

and they shall be
