וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ֩
way·yiš·mə·‘ū
כָל־
ḵāl
､ הַשָּׂרִ֨ים
haś·śā·rîm
the princes ､
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
､ הָעָ֜ם
hā·‘ām
the people ､
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
בָּ֣אוּ
bā·’ū
､ בַבְּרִ֗ית
ḇab·bə·rîṯ,
into the covenant ､
לְ֠שַׁלַּח
lə·šal·laḥ
אִ֣ישׁ
’îš
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ עַבְדּ֞וֹ
‘aḇ·dōw
his male ､
וְאִ֤ישׁ
wə·’îš
and
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ שִׁפְחָתוֹ֙
šip̄·ḥā·ṯōw
､ חָפְשִׁ֔ים
ḥā·p̄ə·šîm,
free ､
לְבִלְתִּ֥י
lə·ḇil·tî
עֲבָד־
‘ă·ḇāḏ-
בָּ֖ם
bām
､ ע֑וֹד
‘ō·wḏ;
､ וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֖וּ
way·yiš·mə·‘ū
and they obeyed ､
. וַיְשַׁלֵּֽחוּ׃
way·šal·lê·ḥū.
and let [them] go .
