､ יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ
yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘,
Joshua ､
וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ
way·yō·mə·rū
and said
אֵלָיו֮
’ê·lāw
to him
אַל־
’al-
not
– יַ֣עַל
ya·‘al
do let go up –
כָּל־
kāl-
הָעָם֒
hā·‘ām
the people
כְּאַלְפַּ֣יִם
kə·’al·pa·yim
אִ֗ישׁ
’îš,
א֚וֹ
’ōw
or
כִּשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת
kiš·lō·šeṯ
אֲלָפִ֣ים
’ă·lā·p̄îm
אִ֔ישׁ
’îš,
יַעֲל֖וּ
ya·‘ă·lū
let go up
וְיַכּ֣וּ
wə·yak·kū
and attack
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
– הָעָ֑י
hā·‘āy;
Ai –
אַל־
’al-
not
תְּיַגַּע־
tə·yag·ga‘-
– שָׁ֙מָּה֙
šām·māh
there –
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
כָּל־
kāl-
הָעָ֔ם
hā·‘ām,
the people
כִּ֥י
kî
מְעַ֖ט
mə·‘aṭ
. הֵֽמָּה׃
hêm·māh.
they [are] .
