､ וַיְהִ֡י
way·hî
So it was ､
כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר
ka·’ă·šer
as
צָֽלֲלוּ֩
ṣā·lă·lū
it began to be dark
שַׁעֲרֵ֨י
ša·‘ă·rê
at the gates
יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם
yə·rū·šā·lim
לִפְנֵ֣י
lip̄·nê
､ הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת
haš·šab·bāṯ,
the Sabbath ､
וָאֹֽמְרָה֙
wā·’ō·mə·rāh
､ וַיִּסָּגְר֣וּ
way·yis·sā·ḡə·rū
and to be shut ､
הַדְּלָת֔וֹת
had·də·lā·ṯō·wṯ,
the gates
וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה
wā·’ō·mə·rāh,
אֲשֶׁר֙
’ă·šer
לֹ֣א
lō
not
יִפְתָּח֔וּם
yip̄·tā·ḥūm,
עַ֖ד
‘aḏ
אַחַ֣ר
’a·ḥar
. הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת
haš·šab·bāṯ;
the Sabbath .
וּמִנְּעָרַ֗י
ū·min·nə·‘ā·ray,
And [some] of my servants
הֶֽעֱמַ֙דְתִּי֙
he·‘ĕ·maḏ·tî
עַל־
‘al-
at
､ הַשְּׁעָרִ֔ים
haš·šə·‘ā·rîm,
the gates ､
לֹא־
lō-
no
יָב֥וֹא
yā·ḇō·w
[so that] would be brought in
מַשָּׂ֖א
maś·śā
בְּי֥וֹם
bə·yō·wm
on day
. הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃
haš·šab·bāṯ.
the Sabbath .
