､ וַיְהִ֣י
way·hî
And it came to pass ､
כַאֲשֶׁ֣ר
ḵa·’ă·šer
נִשְׁמַ֣ע
niš·ma‘
､ לְסַנְבַלַּ֣ט
lə·san·ḇal·laṭ
､ וְ֠טוֹבִיָּה
wə·ṭō·w·ḇî·yāh
and Tobiah ､
וּלְגֶ֨שֶׁם
ū·lə·ḡe·šem
and Geshem
､ הָֽעַרְבִ֜י
hā·‘ar·ḇî
the Arab ､
וּלְיֶ֣תֶר
ū·lə·ye·ṯer
and the rest
､ אֹֽיְבֵ֗ינוּ
’ō·yə·ḇê·nū,
of our enemies ､
כִּ֤י
kî
בָנִ֙יתִי֙
ḇā·nî·ṯî
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
､ הַ֣חוֹמָ֔ה
ha·ḥō·w·māh,
the wall ､
וְלֹא־
wə·lō-
and [that] no
נ֥וֹתַר
nō·w·ṯar
בָּ֖הּ
bāh
in it
פָּ֑רֶץ
pā·reṣ;
גַּ֚ם
gam
עַד־
‘aḏ-
at
הָעֵ֣ת
hā·‘êṯ
הַהִ֔יא
ha·hî,
דְּלָת֖וֹת
də·lā·ṯō·wṯ
the doors
לֹא־
lō-
not
הֶעֱמַ֥דְתִּי
he·‘ĕ·maḏ·tî
. בַשְּׁעָרִֽים׃
ḇaš·šə·‘ā·rîm.
in the gates .
