Matthew 15:21-28 - A Canaanite Woman's Great Faith

²¹ And, going forth thence, Jesus withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon. ²² And, behold, a Canaanitish woman, having come forth out of those borders, cried out, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon!"

²³ But He answered her not a word. And His disciples, coming near, were beseeching Him, saying, "Send her away; for she is crying after us!"

²⁴ But He, answering, said, "I was not sent, except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

²⁵ But she, coming, was worshiping Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"

²⁶ And He, answering, said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and cast it to the little dogs." ²⁷ But she said, "Yes, Lord; for even the little dogs eat of the crumbs falling from the master's table."

²⁸ Then Jesus, answering, said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! be it done to you as you wish." And her daughter was healed from that hour.
