Matthew 19:23-30 - Possessions And The Kingdom

And Jesus said to his disciples, I tell you truly, that a rich man will enter into the kingdom of heaven with difficulty. 24 And again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

And the disciples hearing this, were greatly astonished, and said, Who then can be saved?

But Jesus looking on them, said, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Then Peter answered and said, Behold we have left all and followed you; what shall we have therefore?

And Jesus said to them, I tell you truly, that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit on the throne of his glory, shall yourselves also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel; 29 and whoever has left brothers or sisters, or a father or mother, or children, or lands or houses, for my name's sake, shall receive many times as much, and inherit eternal life. 30 But many first shall be last; and last, first.
