Matthew 20:17-19 - Jesus Predicts His Death And Resurrection A Third Time

¹⁷ And Jesus going up to Jerusalem, took his twelve disciples aside privately, and said to them on the way, ¹⁸ Behold we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, ¹⁹ and deliver him to the gentiles, to mock, and scourge, and crucify him; and on the third day he shall be raised.

³² And they were on the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus went before them; and they were amazed, and afraid, as they followed him. And again taking the twelve aside, he told them the things that were about to befall him;

³³ Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and deliver him to the gentiles, ³⁴ and they will mock him, and spit on him, and scourge him, and kill him, and after three days he shall rise again.

³¹ AND Jesus took the twelve aside, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and all things written by the prophets concerning the Son of man will be finished. ³² For he will be delivered to the Gentiles, and be mocked, and injuriously treated, and spit upon, ³³ and they will scourge and kill him, and on the third day he will rise again.

³⁴ And they understood nothing of these things; and this word was concealed from them, and they did not perceive what was said.
