Matthew 24:1-2 - The Destruction Of The Temple Predicted

¹ And as Jesus went out, and was departing from the temple, his disciples came to observe to Him the magnificent buildings. ² But Jesus said unto them, Do ye see all these things? Verily I tell you, there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be demolished.

¹ And as He was going out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to Him, Master, behold what fine stones are here, and what stately buildings!

² And Jesus answering said unto him, Thou seest these grand buildings: but there shall not be left one stone upon another, which shall not be thrown down.

⁵ And as some were speaking of the temple; how it was adorned with beautiful stones and gifts, He said, As for these things which ye see, ⁶ the days will come, in which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be demolished.
