Revelation 3:14-22 - The Letter To The Church In Laodicea

14 To the angel of the congregation in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation says this: 15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 Because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, I am rich and have become wealthy and have need of nothing." You do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy gold from me, gold purified by fire, so that you may be rich; and white clothing, so that you may be clothed. In this way the shame of your nakedness will not appear. And anoint your eyes with eye salve, so that you may see. 19 I reprove and discipline those whom I love: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and dine with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me on my throne, even as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

22 He who can hear let him hear what the Spirit says to the congregations.'
