Mark 16:9-20 - The Longer Ending Of Mark
9 Now when Jesus had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons. 10 And she went and told it to those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. 11 And though they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they did not believe. 12 After this he appeared in another form to two of them, as they walked and went into the country. 13 And they went and told it to the rest. But they did not believe them.
14 Afterward he appeared to the eleven as they reclined at table; and he reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen. 15 And he said to them: Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believes and is immersed, shall be saved; he that believes not, shall be condemned. 17 And these signs shall attend those who believe. In my name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 they shall take up serpents; and, if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 The Lord, therefore, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven: and he sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.
9 Salute Urbanus, our fellow-workman in Christ, and Stachys my beloved. 10 Salute Appelles, approved in Christ. Salute those who are of the household of Aristobulus. 11 Salute Herodion, my kinsman. Salute those of the household of Narcissus, who are in the Lord. 12 Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labored in the Lord. Salute Persis the beloved, who labored much in the Lord. 13 Salute Rufus, the chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine. 14 Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hernias, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren with them. 15 Salute Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints that are with them. 16 Salute one another with a holy kiss. The churches of the Christ salute you.
17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who make divisions and cause offenses in opposition to the teaching which you have learned, and avoid them. 18 For such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own appetites; and, by good words and fair speeches, they deceive the hearts of the simple.
19 For your obedience has gone abroad to all men: I rejoice, therefore, on your account. But I desire you to be wise in respect to that which is good, and guileless in respect to that which is evil. 20 The God of peace will soon bruise Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you
