Matthew 16:1-4 - The Signs Of The Times

¹ Now the Pharisees and Sadducees came up and, in order to tempt him, asked him to show them a Sign from heaven.

² He replied, ³ ??- ⁴ "It is an evil and disloyal generation that craves a Sign, and no Sign shall be given to it except the Sign of Jonah." Then he left them and went away.

⁵⁴ And to the crowds he said, "When you see a cloud rise in the west, you say, 'There is a shower coming,' and so it is: ⁵⁵ when you feel the south wind blow, you say, 'There will be heat,' and so it is. ⁵⁶ You hypocrites, you know how to decipher the look of earth and sky; how is it you cannot decipher the meaning of this era?
