Matthew 16:1-4 - The Signs Of The Times
1 Then the Parisees and Saducees came and tempting, desired him to shew them a sign from heaven.
2 He answering said to them, In the evening ye say, It will be fair weather; for the sky is red: 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day; for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye know to discern the face of the sky: can ye not discern the signs of the times? 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh a sign; but there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonah. And he left them and departed.
54 And he said to the people also, When ye see a cloud rising out of the west, straitway ye say, There cometh a heavy shower, and so it is. 55 And when ye find the south wind blowing, ye say, There will be sultry heat; and it is so. 56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the earth and of the sky: how do ye not discern this season?
