Psalm 53:1-6 - There Is None Who Does Good

1 {To the Chanter, upon Mahalath, an instruction of David} The foolish bodies say in their hearts, "Tush, there is no God." Corrupt are they, and become abominable in their wickednesses, there is not one that doeth good. 2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that would understand, or seek after God. 3 But they are all gone out of the way, they are altogether become abominable. There is none that doeth good, no not one.

4 How can they have understanding, that are the workers of wickedness, eating up my people as it were bread, and calling not upon God? 5 They are afraid where no fear is; for God breaketh the bones of them that besiege thee. Thou hast put them to confusion, because God hath despised them.

6 O that the salvation were given unto Israel out of Zion! O that the LORD would deliver his people out of captivity! Then should Jacob rejoice, and Israel should be right glad.
