He replied: Go into the city, to a certain man, and say to him, The Teacher says, My time is near; I will keep the passover at your house, with my disciples.
When Pilate saw that he gained nothing, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, and said: I am innocent of the blood of this just man; you will see to it.
Henceforth the Son of man shall sit on the right hand of the power of God.
and I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall take them out of my hand. My Father, who gave them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to take them out of my Father's hand.
Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died: rather, indeed, that has risen, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
