You search the scriptures, because in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify concerning me: and yet you refuse to come to me, that you may have life.

But that no one is justified by law in the sight of God, is evident: for the just by faith shall live. The law, indeed, is not of faith; but he that does these things shall live by them.

He that believes on the Son has eternal life. But he that believes not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

How strait is the gate, and how narrow the way, that leads to life! and few there are that find it.
