And Mary said, "My soul magnifies the Lord; and my spirit exulted in God my Saviour; read more. because He looked upon the lowliness of His handmaid; for, behold, from the present time all generations will call me happy; because the Mighty One did great things for me; and Holy is His name! And His mercy is unto generations and generations to those who fear Him. He wrought might with His arm; He scattered men proud in the imagination of their heart. He deposed potentates from thrones, and exalted the lowly. The hungry He filled with good things, and the rich He sent away empty. He succored Israel His servant, to remember mercy, (as He spake to our fathers), to Abraham and to his seed forever."

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the Heavenly host, praising God, and saying,
And they sing a new song, saying, "Worthy art Thou to take the book, and to open its seals; because Thou wast slain, and didst redeem to God, by Thy blood, some of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, "Great and marvelous are Thy works, O Lord God, the Almighty; righteous and true are Thy ways, Thou King of the ages.
