Six were born to him in Hebron, and he reigned there seven years and six months. And in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years,

either three years of famine, or three months to be consumed before thy foes while the sword of thine enemies overtakes thee, or else three days the sword of LORD, even pestilence in the land, and the agent of LORD destroying throu

And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years. He reigned seven years in Hebron, and he reigned thirty-three [years] in Jerusalem.

And Abishai, the brother of Joab, he was chief of the three, for he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name among the three.

Of the three, he was more famous than the two, and was made their captain. However he did not attain to the [first] three.
