He lined also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and carved cherubim on the walls.

And in the most holy place he made two cherubim of wood, and overlaid them with gold.

And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

The wings of these cherubim spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and they faced inward.

And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wove cherubim into it.

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto its place, to the inner sanctuary of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubim:

For the cherubim spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its poles.
