As Yahweh commanded Moses, so he mustered them in the desert of Sinai.

These [are] the ones counted whom Moses and Aaron mustered, with the twelve leaders of Israel, each one from {his family}.

The Levites from their ancestors' tribe were not mustered in their midst.

So Moses mustered them according to the {command of Yahweh}, just as he commanded.
