and because they could not come nigh unto him for press, they uncovered the roof of the house where he was. And when they had broken it open, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

but he replied, have ye never read what David, and the rest of the company did, when they were press'd with hunger?

And he told his disciples that a small boat should stand ready for him because of the crowd, so that they would not press upon him.

For he healed many, so as to press upon him, so that as many as had afflictions might touch him.

After this they went into an house, and the crowd press'd again upon them, so as to hinder them from taking their meal.

so Jesus went with him, attended by a great crowd, that press'd about him.
