Or if he ask a fish, for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion?

And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and of an honeycomb.

And having done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net brake.

For astonishment seized him, and all that were with him, at the draught of fishes,

But he said to them, give ye them to eat. And they said, we have no more than five loaves and two fishes, except we should go and buy meat for all this people.

Then taking the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
