He spake of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon; for he it was that would betray him, being one of the twelve.

But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was about to betray him,

And while they were at supper (the devil having now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon,

Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give the sop when I have dipped it. And having dipped the sop, he giveth it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

But some thought, as Judas had the purse, that Jesus had said to him, Buy what we have need of against the feast, or, Give something to the poor.

Judas (not Iscariot) saith to him, Lord, how is it, that thou wilt manifest thyself to us, and not to the world?

And Judas also, who betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus had often met there with his disciples.

Judas then having received a troop of soldiers, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns, and torches, and arms.

They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith to them, I am he. And Judas also, who betrayed him, stood with them.
