but the woman was given the two wings of a great eagle for her flight to the desert, to her appointed place, where she is nourished for a Time, two Times, and half a Time, safe from the serpent.

As for the Beast which was and is not, he is an eighth head: he belongs to the seven, and to perdition he shall go.

As for the secret symbol of the seven stars which you have seen in my right hand, and of the seven golden lamp stands ??the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Now for the interpretation of the discerning mind! The seven heads are seven hills, on which the woman is seated:

Then one of the four living Creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives for ever and ever;

And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to blow their blasts.

Then to the angel of the church at Sardis write thus: ??These are the words of him who holds the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your doings, you have the name of being alive, but you are dead.
