Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering, and burnt-offerings and offering for sin thou hast not chosen, neither delighted in, which are offered by the law:

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the mind, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.

For all these have of their abundance cast into the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Now after several years I came to bring alms to my nation and offerings.

Burnt-offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast not delighted in.

And no man putteth new wine into old leathern-bottles; else the new wine bursteth the bottles, and the wine is spilt, and the bottles are lost; but new wine must be put into new bottles.
