The name of the second river is Gihon, which compasseth all the land of Cush.

The sons of Ham were: Cush, Mizraim, Phut and Canaan.

The sons of Cush: were Seva, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah were: Sheba, and Dedan.

Cush also begot Nimrod, which began to be mighty in the earth:

Then said Joab to Cushi, "Go and tell the king what thou hast seen." And Cushi bowed himself unto Joab and ran.

And the king said to Cushi, "Is the lad Absalom safe?" And Cushi answered, "The enemies of my lord the king and all that rise against thee, to have thee, be as thy lad is."

This is the word of the LORD, which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah the son of Hezekiah: in the time of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah.
