These [are] the heads of {their families}. The sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, [are] Enoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi. These [are] the clans of Reuben.

of Hezron, the clan of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the clan of the Carmites.

The children of Perez were: of Hezron, the clan of the Hezronites; of Hamul, the clan of the Hamulites.

it continues to [the] south to the ascent of Akrabbim, passes [along] to Zin, it goes up south of Kadesh Barnea, passes [along] Hezron, goes up to Addar, and makes a turn to Karka;

Now these are the descendants of Perez: Perez fathered Hezron,

And Caleb the son of Hezron fathered children by Azubah his wife and by Jerioth. And these [were] her sons: Jesher, Shobab, and Ardon.

And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Makir the father of Gilead. And he married her when he was sixty years old. And she bore Segub to him.

And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephrathah, Abijah the wife of Hezron bore to him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.

And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were Ram his firstborn, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, and Ahijah.

The sons of Judah: Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, and Shobal.

The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Enoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.

Hezro the Carmelite, Naari the son of Ezbai,

and Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez became the father of Hezron, and Hezron became the father of Aram,

the [son] of Amminadab, the [son] of Admin, the [son] of Arni, the [son] of Hezron, the [son] of Perez, the [son] of Judah,
