Then the king commanded all the people, saying, Make the passover unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant. Such a passover had not been made since the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah. In the year eighteen of King Josiah, this passover was made unto the LORD in Jerusalem.

And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was seventy bullocks, one hundred rams, and two hundred lambs; all these were for the burnt offering of the LORD. And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep. But the priests were too few so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings; therefore, their brethren, the Levites, helped them until the work was ended and until the other priests had sanctified themselves, for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests. And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order. And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people, for the thing was done suddenly.

And Shallum, the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the ministry, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle; and their fathers, being over the camp of the LORD, were keepers of the entry. read more.
And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, was the captain over them in time past, and the LORD was with him. And Zechariah, the son of Meshelemiah, was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve when they were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel, the seer, ordained in their set office. So they and their sons had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards. Towards the four winds were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and Negev. And their brethren, who were in their villages, came every seven days in their set times with them. For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office and were over the chambers and treasures of the house of God.
And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, was the captain over them in time past, and the LORD was with him. And Zechariah, the son of Meshelemiah, was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the testimony. All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve when they were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel, the seer, ordained in their set office.
