Judas, not Iscariot, saith to him, And how is it, Lord, that thou art going to manifest thyself to us, and not to the world?

And as Jesus passed on from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the customhouse; and he saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. And it came to pass, as he was reclining at table in the house, lo! many publicans and sinners came and reclined with Jesus and his disciples.

And passing along, he saw Levi, the son of Alphaeus, sitting at the customhouse; and he saith to him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him. And it happened that he was reclining at table in his house; and many publicans and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many, and scribes of the Pharisees were also following him.

And after these things he went out, and saw a publican named Levi, sitting at the customhouse; and he said to him, Follow me. And leaving everything, he arose and followed him. And Levi made a great feast for him at his house, and there was a great company of publicans and others, who were reclining at table with them.

Again, I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on earth concerning any thing that they shall ask, it will be done for them by my Father o who is in heaven.

And when we had completed the days, we departed, and went our way, they all accompanying us, with wives and children, till we were out of the city; and having kneeled down on the shore and prayed,

And having thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

And when they had come in, they went up into the upper room where they were making their abode, namely, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon the zealot, and Judas the brother of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer, with women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.
