Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests, and said, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him up to you? And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. And from that time he sought an opportunity to deliver him up.

Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, I sinned in betraying innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? See thou to it. And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and withdrew; and went away and hanged himself.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests, that he might deliver him up to them. And they when they heard it were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought a good opportunity to deliver him up.

And Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the twelve. And he went away, and consulted with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him up to them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. read more.
And he agreed with them, and sought a good opportunity to deliver him up to them in the absence of the multitude.

While he was yet speaking, lo! a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, was at the head of them; and he drew near to Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said to him, Judas, dost thou betray the Son of man with a kiss?

Brethren, it was necessary that this scripture should be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit through the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, who became guide to those who took Jesus. For he was numbered among us, and obtained the allotment of this ministry. Now this man purchased a field with the wages of the iniquity; and falling headlong he burst asunder in the middle, and all his bowels gushed out.

Then it was decided by the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among themselves, and send them to Antioch, with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren. Verse Concepts

And Jesus said to him, Friend, for what hast thou come! Then they came and laid hands on Jesus, and seized him.

For he knew who was about to betray him; for this reason he said, Ye are not all clean. And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that that field is called in their own tongue, Aceldamach, that is, Field of Blood. For it is written in the book of Psalms, "Let his habitation be made desolate, and let no one dwell therein;" and, "Let another take his office."
