And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day;


And whoever touches one that is slain with a sword in the open fields or a dead body or a human bone or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.


Of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcase you shall not touch: they are unclean to you.

and the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh, and if the hair in the plague is turned white and the plague looks deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy; and the priest shall recognize him and pronounce him unclean.

But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother and for his father and for his son and for his daughter and for his brother and for his virgin sister, that is near unto him, who has had no husband; for her he may be defiled.


Moreover he that enters into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the evening.


And any person that eats that which died of itself or that which was torn by beasts whether it is a natural of your own country or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening; then he shall be clean.


And he that gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; and it shall be unto the sons of Israel and unto the stranger that sojourns among them for a perpetual statute.


This is the law when anyone dies in a tent; all that come into the tent and all that are in the tent shall be unclean seven days.
