Greet the brothers who are at Laodicia, and Nympha, along with the church that meets in her house. And when this letter has been read to you people, see that it is read in the church of the Laodicians also. And see that you read the letter [coming] from Laodicia also. [Note: This could have been a reference to the letter to the Ephesians].

I also send greetings to the church that meets in their house. Greetings to my dear friend Epenetus, who was the first convert to Christ in Asia [Note: This was a province in the western part of present-day Turkey].

Since Paul's message continued [until nearly midnight] Eutychus was overcome by sleep and fell from the third floor to his death.
