Empires/world powers » The beast from the sea and the beast from the earth
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, which had seven heads and ten horns; and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the names of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were mortally wounded, but his deadly wound was healed: and all the earth wondered and went after the beast. read more.
And they worshipped the dragon, who gave his power to the beast, and they worshipped the beast likewise, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war against him? And there was given him a mouth speaking great and blasphemous things, and power was given him to make war forty two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven. And he was permitted to make war upon the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over every tribe, and tongue, and nation. So that all who dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any one hath an ear, let him hear. Whosoever leadeth into captivity shall go away into captivity: and he, that killeth with the sword, shall be slain with the sword. Here then is the patience and faith of the saints. And I saw another beast ascending out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb; but he spake like a dragon. And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his presence; and makes the earth, and those that dwell in it, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doth great wonders, so that even maketh fire to come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men; and deceiveth those that dwell on the earth, by the signs which it was given him to do in the presence of the beast, telling the inhabitants of the earth to make an image to the beast, that had received the wound of the sword, and yet lived. And he was permitted to give life to the image of the beast, that it might both speak, and cause all those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. And he maketh all, both small and great, rich and poor, free-men and slaves, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads: and that no one might buy or sell, but he that hath the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom required; and let him, that hath understanding, compute the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred sixty six.

And he transported me in spirit into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-coloured beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of the stench and filth of her whoredom. And upon her forehead was a name written, "Mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots, and of the abominations of the earth." read more.
And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement. And the angel said unto me, Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not; but will rise out of the abyss, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth (whose names are not written on the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is to be. To this the mind that hath wisdom will attend: for the seven heads are seven hills, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, one is, and another is not yet come; and when he cometh, he is to continue but a little while. And the beast that was, and is not, he is the eighth, and is as one of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns, which thou sawest, are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but shall receive power as kings for a limited time with the beast. These are of one mind, and will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he said unto me, The waters which thou sawest, whereon the harlot sitteth, are people, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall devour her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Judgment » Everyone appearing before the judgment seat of Christ
But why dost thou censure thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? since we shall all stand before the tribunal of Christ; for it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.
For neither doth the Father judge any one, but hath committed all judgement to the Son;

So when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon his glorious throne: and all nations shall be assembled before Him; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats: and He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. read more.
Then will the king say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was famishing, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; I was naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye took care of me; I was in prison, and ye visited me. Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? and when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? and when did we see thee sick, or in prison, and visited thee? Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was famishing, and ye gave me nothing to eat; I was a-thirst, and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye took no care of me. And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged by the things written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every one according to their works. read more.
