And before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal: and in the middle of the throne, and the circle of it, were four animate beings full of eyes before and behind. And the first was like a lion, and the second like a calf, and the third had a face like a man, and the fourth was like a flying eagle. And the four animals had each of them six wings round about, and within were full of eyes; and they cease not day and night saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come. read more.

And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb, as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth. And He came and took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne. And when He had taken the book, the four animals, and the twenty four elders, fell down before the Lamb, having every one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints. read more.
And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open its seals; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round the throne and the animals and the elders: and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands; saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. And I heard every creature in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that are in them, saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb, for ever and ever. And the four animals said, Amen: and the twenty four elders fell down and worshipped Him that liveth to endless ages.

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four animate beings saying, as with a voice of thunder, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon it had a bow, and a crown was given Him, and He went forth conquering and to conquer. And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second animal saying, Come and see. read more.
And there came out another horse, which was red: and it was given to him, that sat upon it, to take peace from the earth, that they should kill one another: and there was given him a great sword. And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third animal say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo, a black horse, and he that sat upon it had a balance in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four animals saying, One measure of wheat for a denary, and but three measures of barley for a denary: but see that thou hurt not the oil and the wine. And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth animal saying, Come and see.

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was darkened, and they gnawed their tongues for pain. And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three impure spirits like frogs:

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to make war with him that sitteth upon the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet, who had wrought signs before him, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast, and those who worshipped his image. And I saw thrones, and persons sat on them, and judgement was given to them: and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God; and who had not worshipped the beast, nor his image, and received not his mark upon their forehead, and on their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, which had seven heads and ten horns; and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the names of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were mortally wounded, but his deadly wound was healed: and all the earth wondered and went after the beast. read more.
And they worshipped the dragon, who gave his power to the beast, and they worshipped the beast likewise, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war against him? And there was given him a mouth speaking great and blasphemous things, and power was given him to make war forty two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven. And he was permitted to make war upon the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over every tribe, and tongue, and nation. So that all who dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any one hath an ear, let him hear. Whosoever leadeth into captivity shall go away into captivity: and he, that killeth with the sword, shall be slain with the sword. Here then is the patience and faith of the saints. And I saw another beast ascending out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb; but he spake like a dragon. And he exerciseth all the authority of the first beast in his presence; and makes the earth, and those that dwell in it, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doth great wonders, so that even maketh fire to come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men; and deceiveth those that dwell on the earth, by the signs which it was given him to do in the presence of the beast, telling the inhabitants of the earth to make an image to the beast, that had received the wound of the sword, and yet lived. And he was permitted to give life to the image of the beast, that it might both speak, and cause all those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. And he maketh all, both small and great, rich and poor, free-men and slaves, to receive a mark on their right hand, or on their foreheads: and that no one might buy or sell, but he that hath the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom required; and let him, that hath understanding, compute the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred sixty six.

And he transported me in spirit into the wilderness, and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-coloured beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of the stench and filth of her whoredom. And upon her forehead was a name written, "Mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots, and of the abominations of the earth." read more.
And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great amazement. And the angel said unto me, Why dost thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. The beast, which thou sawest, was, and is not; but will rise out of the abyss, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth (whose names are not written on the book of life from the foundation of the world) shall wonder, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is to be. To this the mind that hath wisdom will attend: for the seven heads are seven hills, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, one is, and another is not yet come; and when he cometh, he is to continue but a little while. And the beast that was, and is not, he is the eighth, and is as one of the seven, and goeth into perdition. And the ten horns, which thou sawest, are ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but shall receive power as kings for a limited time with the beast. These are of one mind, and will give their power and authority to the beast. These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and those that are with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful. And he said unto me, The waters which thou sawest, whereon the harlot sitteth, are people, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall devour her flesh, and burn her with fire.

But why dost thou censure thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? since we shall all stand before the tribunal of Christ; for it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So that every one of us shall give an account of himself to God.

So when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon his glorious throne: and all nations shall be assembled before Him; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats: and He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. read more.
Then will the king say to them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was famishing, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; I was naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye took care of me; I was in prison, and ye visited me. Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? and when did we see thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? and when did we see thee sick, or in prison, and visited thee? And the king replying will say unto them, Verily I declare unto you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of the lest of these my brethren, ye did it to me. Then will He say also to those on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was famishing, and ye gave me nothing to eat; I was a-thirst, and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye took no care of me. Then will they also answer Him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee famishing, or a-thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not relieve thee? Then will He reply to them, saying, Verily I tell you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the lest of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life everlasting.

And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged by the things written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead that were in it; and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them: and they were judged every one according to their works. read more.
