For in the multitude of dreams are vanities; so with many words: but fear God.


And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak to him in a dream.

The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell the dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith Jehovah.

And it shall come to pass afterwards that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him.

Speak not too much about a servant to his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be held guilty.

The beginning of the words of his mouth is folly; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness. And the fool multiplieth words: yet man knoweth not what shall be; and what shall be after him, who will tell him?
