Peter began to say to him, Behold, we have left all things and have followed thee. Jesus answering said, Verily I say to you, There is no one who has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, that shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time: houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the coming age life eternal.
And Peter said, Behold, we have left all things and have followed thee. And he said to them, Verily I say to you, There is no one who has left home, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, who shall not receive manifold more at this time, and in the coming age life eternal.
For whosoever shall desire to save his life shall lose it, but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's shall save it.
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose it shall preserve it.
Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me; and to him that ordereth his way will I shew the salvation of God.
Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name; Make known his acts among the peoples.
and filthiness and foolish talking, or jesting, which are not convenient; but rather thanksgiving.
Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known of all men. The Lord is near. Be careful about nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;read more.
and the peace of God, which surpasses every understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts by Christ Jesus.
rooted and built up in him, and assured in the faith, even as ye have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
And let the peace of Christ preside in your hearts, to which also ye have been called in one body, and be thankful.
Wherefore let us, receiving a kingdom not to be shaken, have grace, by which let us serve God acceptably with reverence and fear.
