Now this is the condemnation, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light, because their deeds were evil. For every one whose practices are foul hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his actions may not be brought to conviction. But he who practices the truth, cometh to the light, that his actions may be evident, as being done for God.

But all things which are rebukeable are made manifest by the light; for it is the light, by which every thing is made manifest. Wherefore he saith, "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."

For that which is corruptible must put on incorruption, and that which is mortal must put on immortality. So when that which is corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and that which is mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying which is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

AND you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins, wherein in times past ye walked after the fashion of this world, after the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now worketh with energy in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all have had our conversation in time past, in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, as well as the rest. read more.
But God, being rich in mercy, through the great love with which he hath loved us, though we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved,) and hath raised us up together with him, and made us sit down together in the heavenly regions in Christ Jesus.
