but herein hath God displayed his love towards us, in that Christ died for us, even while we were yet sinners. much more then being now justified by his blood, shall we thro' him be delivered from the wrath to come. for if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his son: much more being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. read more.
and not only so, but we have present joy in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now obtained the reconciliation.

Now this is all owing to God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath made us the ministers of this reconciliation; for it is God that has reconciled the world to himself, by Jesus Christ, by not imputing their sins to them; and hath committed to us the gospel of reconciliation.

Jesus said to him, "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." this is the first and most important precept, and the second has an affinity with it, "thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self." read more.
