Brothers, if anybody is caught in the very act of doing wrong, you who are spiritual, in the spirit of gentleness, must set him right; each of you continuing to think of yourself, for you may be tempted too. Practice bearing one another's burdens, and in this way carry out the law of Christ.

You must let your brotherly love continue. Do not remain neglectful of hospitality to strangers, for by it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those who are in prison, as though you were in prison with them, and those who are being ill-treated, since you, too, are liable to similar physical punishment.

It is the duty of us who are strong to bear with the weaknesses of those who are not strong, and not merely to please ourselves. Each one of us must practice pleasing his neighbor, to help in his immediate upbuilding for his eternal good. Christ certainly did not please Himself; instead, as the Scripture says, "The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen upon me."
