Then you must practice dealing with others as you would like for them to deal with you, for this is the summing up of the law and the prophets.
Now who is qualified for such a task? I am, for I am not a peddler of God's message, like the most of them, but like a man of sincerity, like a man that is sent from God and living in His presence, in union with Christ I speak His message.
"Take care not to do your good deeds in public, to attract the attention of people; if you do, you will get no reward from your Father in heaven.

in other words, that we may be mutually encouraged, while I am with you, by one another's faith, yours and mine.
I am not going too far in my boasting, and actually boasting of other men's labors, but I am cherishing the hope that your faith may so continue to grow that through you my work within my sphere may be so enlarged as to run over,
and save, snatching them out of the fire; and others you must pity with dread, loathing even the clothes that are soiled by their lower nature.
Let your light shine before people in such a way that they may see your good deeds, and praise your Father in heaven.
Dear children, let us stop loving with words or lips alone, but let us love with actions and in truth.
For exactly as you criticize others, you will be criticized, and in accordance with the measure that you give to others, it will be measured back to you.
So continue encouraging one another and helping one another in character building.
Then stop criticizing others, and you will never be criticized; stop condemning others, and you will never be condemned.
But if you continue to bite and eat one another, beware lest you are destroyed by one another.
In brotherly love be affectionate to one another, in personal honors put one another to the fore,
You must practice being kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has graciously forgiven you.
By this everybody will know that you are my disciples, if you keep on showing love for one another."
And stop neglecting to do good and to be generous, for God is highly pleased with just such sacrifices as these.
Some, indeed, are actually preaching Christ because they are moved by jealousy and partisanship, but others are doing so from the motive of good will;
to the one a deadly perfume that leads to death, to the other a living perfume that leads to life.
Stop acting from motives of selfish strife or petty ambition, but in humility practice treating one another as your superiors.
No one should always be looking after his own welfare, but also that of his neighbor.
Some men's sins are very evident and clearly lead them on to judgment, but the sins of others lag behind.
They answered, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
As all of you have received your spiritual talents, you must keep on using them in serving one another, as good trustees of God's many-sided favor.

So, my brothers, when you meet to eat, wait for one another.
I have other sheep too that do not belong to this fold. I must lead them too, and they will listen to my voice, and all my sheep will become one flock with one shepherd.
Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you are, who pose as a judge of others, for when you pass judgment on another, you condemn yourself, for you who pose as a judge are practicing the very same sins yourself.
This is my command to you, to keep on loving one another as I have loved you.
