Turn back at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit upon you. I will make my words known to you. Because I have called, and ye have refused, I have stretched out my hand, and no man has regarded, but ye have made all my counsel void, and want none of my reproof, read more.
I also will laugh at your calamity. I will mock when your fear comes, when your fear comes as a storm, and your calamity comes on as a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. They wanted none of my counsel. They despised all my reproof. Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the backsliding of the simple shall kill them, and the careless ease of fools shall destroy them. But he who hearkens to me shall dwell securely, and shall be quiet without fear of evil.

Thus says LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.
For if ye thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if ye thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor,
It may be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may relent of the evil which I purpose to do to them because of the evil of their doings.
O Israel, return to LORD thy God, for thou have fallen by thine iniquity. Take with you words, and return to LORD. Say to him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good.
