Afflictions » The lord not afflicting
As for the Almighty, we cannot attain to him! He is great in power, but justice and abundant righteousness he does not oppress.

(Mem) Whose command was ever fulfilled unless the Lord decreed it? Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that everything comes -- both calamity and blessing? Why should any living person complain when punished for his sins?

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is an eternal God, the creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to his wisdom.

God has made everything fit beautifully in its appropriate time, but he has also placed ignorance in the human heart so that people cannot discover what God has ordained, from the beginning to the end of their lives.
then I discerned all that God has done: No one really comprehends what happens on earth. Despite all human efforts to discover it, no one can ever grasp it. Even if a wise person claimed that he understood, he would not really comprehend it.
For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?
