"Therefore, blessed is the man whom God corrects, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
My child, do not despise discipline from the Lord, and do not loathe his rebuke.
And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons? "My son, do not scorn the Lord's discipline or give up when he corrects you.

For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison
"Therefore, blessed is the man whom God corrects, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.
But he knows the pathway that I take; if he tested me, I would come forth like gold.
"Has anyone said to God, 'I have endured chastisement, but I will not act wrongly any more.
Before I was afflicted I used to stray off, but now I keep your instructions.
It is better to go to a funeral than a feast. For death is the destiny of every person, and the living should take this to heart.

You will be protected from malicious gossip, and will not be afraid of the destruction when it comes. You will laugh at destruction and famine and need not be afraid of the beasts of the earth. For you will have a pact with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you. And you will know that your home will be secure, and when you inspect your domains, you will not be missing anything. You will also know that your children will be numerous, and your descendants like the grass of the earth. You will come to your grave in a full age, As stacks of grain are harvested in their season. But in fact, if you happen to suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. But do not be terrified of them or be shaken.
