Incline your ear and listen to the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my instruction.
Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

Brothers and sisters, do not be children in your thinking. Instead, be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.
You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had,
Therefore let those of us who are "perfect" embrace this point of view. If you think otherwise, God will reveal to you the error of your ways.
Think about what I am saying and the Lord will give you understanding of all this.
So, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same attitude, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin,
